Israel has resumed airstrikes within the Gaza Strip after the collapse of the talks with Hamas over the discharge of the remaining hostages and implementation of the ceasefire.
In an announcement within the early hours of Tuesday, the Israel Protection Forces (IDF) stated they had been “conducting in depth strikes on terror targets belonging to the Hamas terrorist group within the Gaza Strip.”
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s workplace stated that the strikes are a response to “Hamas’s repeated refusal to launch our hostages, in addition to its rejection of all the proposals it has acquired from US Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff and from the mediators.”
