A city corridor hosted by Republican Consultant Marjorie Taylor Greene in Cobb County, Georgia, was repeatedly disrupted by protesters on Tuesday night.
Footage reveals police eradicating three individuals inside minutes of Greene taking the stage, with officers tasering one man contained in the venue.
About six individuals had been faraway from the occasion, with three arrested, Acworth Police informed the BBC’s US companion CBS Information. Officers confirmed a taser had been used on a second attendee.
Two arrestees face costs of easy battery on a legislation enforcement officer and obstructing a legislation enforcement officer. A 3rd is charged with vulgar language.
Greene informed reporters she was “very grateful” for a way police had dealt with the incident, saying she was “glad they acquired thrown out”.
In an announcement the police division stated its officers had been “threatened, bodily resisted, and harmed” whereas eradicating protesters.
