The United Nations peacekeeping drive in Lebanon says its outgoing deputy commander has been injured after one in all its convoys was “violently attacked”.
The UN Interim Power in Lebanon (Unifil) mentioned in an announcement that the convoy was taking peacekeepers to Beirut airport when it was focused and one in all its automobiles set on hearth.
The mission has demanded a “full and quick” investigation by Lebanese authorities.
