The Florida Gators have made it clear they are not afraid of the defending nationwide champions.
In its second-round NCAA Match matchup in opposition to the No. 8-seed Connecticut Huskies on Sunday, No. 1-seed Florida gained momentum on an alley-oop early within the first half.
With UConn trailing, 4-0, Huskies ahead Liam McNeeley missed a three-pointer. Florida guard Walter Clayton Jr. grabbed the rebound and handed the ball to protect Will Richard. Richard took one dribble earlier than firing a one-handed cross to protect Alijah Martin, who made Gator followers erupt after dunking the ball.
